  Albatross in flight

In June 2002, British Antarctic Survey unveil the new foyer at their High Cross headquarters in Cambridge. BAS staff plan to have on permanent exhibition two albatrosses in flight to welcome visitors to the building - an adult Wandering Albatross (Diomedea exulans), together with an adult Grey-headed albatross (Diomedea chrysostoma). Wild Art has been asked to prepare and suspend both birds. An Adelie Penguin will also be prepared to accompany staff on educational visits to local schools.
