Great Grey Owl strix nebulosa
Rescued from a dark and dusty attic, this immature Great Grey was cleaned and remodelled where possible; the 'rock' and groundwork was returned to its original condition, supplemented and then cased behind seamless glass, placed on a solid oak plinth. The finishing touch was a stunning 'forest' back-drop created by Dedham wildlife artist Kenneth Smith - all Wild Art's backboards are professionally illustrated. |
